Six months of preparations come to a successful end...

Last September Annabella starting with the preparations for her first communion. She had classes almost every week since then.

On April 19th she went to her first communion. Almost a strange coincidence, that April 19th is also the wedding anniversary of my parents and her grandparents. As with the pictures of Joy-Joann's Baptism, I will make a web page with all the pictures when I get a chance. For the meantime, here is a picture of our little "angel". Every time I look at it, it is almost hard for me to believe it is Annabella.

A New Milestone for Joy-Joann

Joy-Joann was baptized on April 13th, 2009 (Easter Monday) here in our Church St. Bonifatius in Abtsteinach. April 13th is also the birthday her "namesake" Aunt Joann.

The Baptism was a "big" event in the Church, and much to our surprise, in addition to the first communion children that were planned to be there, the Church was practically filled. I will try to finish a Baptism web page when I get a chance. Until then, here is a picture of the family in the Church



As you can see, the family keeps growing. It was really nice that Dad was able to come and be part of the ceremony and celebration.

Time really flies...even though you know it!

Yesterday Joy-Joann reached a new milestone...she had her 6 month birthday! She is getting bigger every day and learning to do more and more. This picture was taken while she was playing with her two older sisters.

Spring is almost here... but the Christmas Pictures are not....

No excuses. I just lost track of publishing the pictures from Christmas 2008 while working on the CD. The CD is finished, so I have transferred the Christmas pictures to the server. Just click on the picture below to get there....
